The Warrior Group Revealed
The third episode ended with a dramatic pause and revealed the premier party of heroes who will branch out from the primary party to begin their independent quest, separate from the additional parties.
The combat-focused team includes Teor Pridesire (played by the voice actor), Thimble (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (the actor).
Why Split the Party?
With an extensive roster, it was clear from the beginning that having everyone at the same party would be unworkable.
This explains, the initial installments of this story serve as an Introduction, weaving together the individual narratives before splitting into three smaller tables: Fighters, Planners, and Questers.
What Defines the Combat Party
According to Brennan Lee Mulligan, the warrior group is for players who are drawn to a classically intense battle-oriented gameplay experience where diplomatic options are few and far between.
At first glance, characters like the squeamish cleric Wicander might seem out of place, but the events of episode 3 show why these specific adventurers are best suited for the warrior group.
Motivations for Departure
For one thing, the party has a clear idea where to proceed after a brutal opening clash with the enemy group.
Casimir of Thjazi Fang—whose passing initiated the campaign’s events—used The Crow Keepers for his selfish purposes, breaking into the hidden lair, assaulting the rogue, and taking all the magical artifacts to auction.
Casimir then cleared his debts and escaped to a Halovar stronghouse in Gormalay, Timmony, north of Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother close behind.

- Thimble, as the close ally and trusted friend, desires retribution.
- Kattigan is familiar with the region and warns that it is a nasty environment.
- Tyranny and The healer, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to eliminate the fighter and instead rescued him, have no safe haven.
- Yet, their reputation as prominent individuals in the influential clan could assist the party reach locations they typically wouldn’t be able to.
- Furthermore, The grateful character swore a eternal obligation to Wicander for his deliverance and will now go with him wherever.
Pursued by Authorities
Lastly, all of them are hunted by the powers that control the setting for a multiple motives, making remaining behind dangerous:
- Thimble and The hero are known criminals.
